My family will not be gathering together this year. The terrible economy and increased travel costs have forced us to stay at home. We’ll make the trips home for Christmas instead.

So to all my family and friends who I won’t be able to see at Thanksgiving this year, I hope you have a wonderful day and great food.

Holy Cow, Batman! Can you believe the Titans are 9 wins and no losses?!? This is an amazing season for the team. With our backup quarterback carrying the load and Vince Young sulking on the sidelines, I am so proud of everyone (but Vince) for pulling all these wins out of the air, even when they were behind and it looked certain they would lose. The team has never given up (except for Vince) and have fought hard for each win. This is a great year for the team (except Vince).

With a majority of the electoral votes in place by 10:30 tonight, Barack Obama was declared winner of the Presidential election.

This must have been a huge surprise to all the smug republicans who thought McCain had a lock on the election. In fact, it was a very close election and I would not be surprised to learn when all the dust settles that McCain might have won the popular vote. But its the electoral vote that counts, so Obama is our next fearless leader.
