Monday Night Football

The Tennessee Titans have the perfect opportunity to shine tonight. The Monday Night Football game being broadcast tonight is a rare event for the Titans. The fact that they are playing the Colts probably has a lot to do with the network’s decision to feature these two teams. However, Tennessee has the only 6-0 record in the league and has a lot on the line with tonight’s game.

I was glad to see Hank Williams Jr on the field to start the game off, Music City style. After all, everyone who has ever watched football in the past 20 years must recognize Hank’s legendary call, “Are you ready for some football?!?!”

Go, Titans!

The Sweetest Voice in Nashville

If you ever get the chance to listen to Leslie Ellis sing, you will hear the sweetest voice in all of Nashville. This woman has a marvelous voice and she won a Grammy to prove it. Pretty, too!

Learn more about Leslie by clicking over to her web site or Leslie’s myspace page. She is working on some new songs right now and is about half way into her next CD. I can’t wait to hear the whole CD when it’s finished and released.

She is on tour over in Norway right now. Check her web site calendar to see if she will be anywhere near you so you can go to her show.

Digging Taylor Swift

The more I see Taylor Swift in music videos the more I’m falling in love with that girl. She is tall and thin and has the most beautiful long blond hair! She wears clothes that are modest but sexy at the same time.

I’d love to buy a DVD with her music videos. The one about a love story is so good. She is dressed in Victorian gowns and dancing the old style minuet type of ballroom dancing in a castle. It’s a great video - makes you want to get dressed in breeches and boots and join the Musketeers to sweep her off her feet.

Dinner and a Movie

Tonight I want to do something different. Its been a long time since I’ve gone out to the movie theater and seen a movie on the big screen. I’m not sure what movie I want to see, but I jsut have the urge to get out there and see something. Life is more than just going home from work and vegging on the couch.

The Roast of Bob Saget

I love the Comedy Central Roasts they’re great, well most of the time, I enjoy all of the others a bit more than the one for Bob Saget. The panel they had definately left me wanting more. At least John Stamos rewarded the funniest one there with a little make out session. The fuuny thing is on the CC website they dont even say the names of some of the people there because they just were not funny. John Stamos was funnier than most of the comedians. All in All I hope he had an absolutely wonderful time, even though alot of people don’t like him everyone has to admit he’s put the time in. At least give him that.
